Arroyos Del Norte Elementary School “Nature Walk”

2011 Kindergarten
Our first mural working as Visiting Artist was with Kindergarteners who chose their theme to be of the Nature Walk, a path that went around the school where indigenous plants grew and contained tributes to indigenous animals, including the school mascot of the coyote. The children’s art was portrayed literally onto the wall with the use of an overhead projector. This mural utilized large tile pieces and took 38 days to complete.
