Taos Municipal School Administration “School Mascots”
2015-2016 3rd Grade
Because this mural is in the Taos Municipal Schools Administration Building, it was asked that we depict each of the public schools’ mascots. During the time of its creation, Enos Garcia Elementary School changed its mascot from the leopard to the tiger. Consequently, we had to remove the spots on the cat in the tree and replace them with tiger stripes. We worked with four third grade classes on this mural.
